THE APPROACH
Dr. Oron Fiksel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Currently he is pursuing a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) program with a research focus on the treatment of chronic headaches through a manual therapy, exercises and nutrition-based approach.
Dr. Fiksel believes in integrating a holistic, systematic approach when treating chronic pain.
This combines a unique one-on-one multi-systems observation, evaluation and treatment of the body. Each treatment and evaluation integrates the musculoskeletal, digestive and nervous systems.

BIO
Dr. Oron Fiksel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT). Currently he is pursuing a Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy (DScPT) program with a research focus on the treatment of chronic headaches through a manual therapy, exercises and nutrition-based approach.
Most recently, Oron relocated to South Florida and has treated and mentored around the world including, NYU Langone Medical in New York City, New Jersey, India, and a private practice in Tel-Aviv, Israel.
He believes in guiding his patients in lifestyle changes as an anti-inflammatory tool, which is clinically shown to reduce pain and improve metabolic health status.
Oron graduated with his Doctorate degree in Physical therapy with honors from Long Island University in 2012, and later went on to complete a year-long residency training in Orthopedic functional manual therapy (FMT).
In addition to the certification in Functional Manual Therapy, Oron is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS), he is certified in dry needling (Cert-DN) and holds a certification in advanced manipulative therapy, Canadian approach (CAMT).

He is passionate about continuing education and expanding his knowledge in the field of rehabilitation, and complementary fields of holistic health, in order to best diagnose and treat chronic pain.
