Neck Pain and Headache Treatment in Boca Raton: Physical Therapy That Finds the Cervical Source and Resolves It.

For professionals whose neck pain and headaches come back no matter what they try.

The Stretches Helped for a Day. The Headache Was Back by Thursday.

Eight hours at a screen. Stiff neck by afternoon. A headache that builds from the base of the skull and settles behind one eye.

If you've been dealing with this for months despite the massage, the stretching, and the adjustments, it's not because you haven't tried hard enough.

Massage only quiets the tissue. It doesn't reach the cervical restriction driving the whole pattern.

That's exactly why it keeps coming back. And exactly why Dr. Fiksel built his practice around finding what everyone else missed.

Find the Source. Stop Managing the Symptoms.

Why This Is Different

14+

Years in practice

Treating complex pain that standard care couldn't resolve. Two doctorates. One focus.

60

Minutes. Every session.

Every visit. Because chronic pain doesn't fit in a standard appointment.

100%

One-on-one care

The same expert care, every time. We work together until the very end.

3

Systems most clinicians ignore.

Musculoskeletal, nervous, and digestive. Standard physio only looks at one.

Why Do Neck Pain and Headaches Keep Coming Back?

Many chronic headaches don't originate in the head.

They originate in the cervical spine, specifically in the upper cervical joints, the muscles bracing around them, and the loading pattern keeping those structures irritated.

This is called cervicogenic headache. It mimics tension-type headache and migraine closely enough that it gets misdiagnosed routinely. Treatment aimed at the head doesn't fix a cervical source.

The same logic applies to chronic neck pain. A restriction in the upper thoracic spine, a joint that stopped moving, a loading pattern built around years at a desk, the neck absorbs all of it.

Local treatment helps temporarily. The source keeps loading the same way.

Dr. Fiksel assesses cervical and thoracic mechanics, joint mobility, muscle activation patterns, and how the system loads under the specific demands of the daily pattern.

This is for you if...

  • Headaches build through the day, start at the base of the skull, or track behind one eye

  • Neck stiffness or pain returns despite PT, massage, or chiropractic

  • Symptoms worsen through the workday and ease on weekends or time off

  • Diagnosed with tension headaches but medication only dulls, never resolves

  • Relief from every treatment only lasts days, not weeks

What Working With Dr. Fiksel Looks Like

Step 1: Free Discovery Call

15 minutes. You explain the injury history, what you've tried, and where you are now. Dr. Fiksel tells you honestly whether he thinks he can help and what the assessment would involve.

Step 2: Full Doctoral-Level Assessment

One hour. One doctor. Dr. Fiksel maps the full kinetic chain: joint mechanics, load transfer patterns, mobility restrictions, and the compensations your body built around the original injury. The goal is to find what made the injury site vulnerable, not just what's symptomatic now.

Step 3: A Real Plan

Not another generic program. A specific explanation of what was found, a clear path back to full activity, and honest timelines.
